Peek-A-Boo...

I see you and you finally see us. Welcome back! Since the new year the blogging has stopped and for no good reason. It is certainly not because nothing has happened.

I do remember why I went through a writing slump in January...That was the month we lost our chickens as you may have noticed on my facebook/twitter comments. I miscalculated the chance of a wild dog or two getting the itch to eat a chicken and our fence was no match for such an assault. And so we had to clean a bloody mess and deal with our sadness over the loss of delicious fresh eggs.

Then there is the weather. I felt like we had been in a kind of hibernation. Certainly there is no cold like a Fairbanks cold but there is also no wind and rain like Jeju wind and rain. ( i'm sure there is but I 'm just not used to it).

And so it goes....here we are, 4 months later with 3 new chickens, a new laptop, and spring weather to bring us out of the chilly months. We have recovered from the loss of our chickens and rebuilt and strengthened the fence and coop to prevent any future incursions. Joon of course has been Joon and growing quickly. He is always excited about the simplest things which definitely makes everyday an adventure. No I will start the task of updating our pictures to the web and putting at least a couple of posts up this week. Hope everyone is well and please give a comment if you are out there!
